BEACON provides tutoring to adults in the
areas of ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages), GED (high school equivalency)
and basic literacy (reading, writing, and math). Trained volunteers work with individuals and
small groups at our partner sites throughout
the western Prince William County, Virginia
area.  BEACON also provides life-skills work-
shops on topics such as health and safety, nutrition, financial literacy, parenting skills and community resources.
